Signs of a desire for change ~ 2012

As we approach 2012 – one cannot help but wonder what the future holds ~ We see global unrest unfolding in the Middle East, Europe, Russia and the U.S. ~ The Occupy Wall Street movement is one of the signs of public awareness that something is wrong and seeking change ~ The race to the white house is also showing signs of the desire for change ~In the latest Iowa poll shows Ron Paul has taken the lead ~ Even if the lead changes throughout the campaign – just the fact that Ron Paul has gathered these kinds of numbers and support shows that people are seeking change ~

An article from the National Post dated 12/19/2011 states:  “Republican presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich suffered a big drop in support in Iowa with Ron Paul taking the lead weeks before a key caucus in the state, according to a Democratic polling firm.

The Public Policy Polling telephone survey of 597 likely Republican caucus voters in Iowa found Mr. Paul leading with 23% of the vote, followed by 20% for former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and 14% for Mr. Gingrich.”

May 2012 bring hope and open pathways to healing our world ~

  1. “Time for a change” -2012 –

Im with you as well Coralinni – here hoping that the new year will bring a message of hope and change….something that our nation, and our world in general, so desparately needs ~

Here’s a related article I found about the upcoming votes in the Iowa caucus – Iowa is so important in this because what happens in the Iowa voting, historically reflects the overall mood of the nation and of its government –

  2. As the article says, Yannaki – “Indeed, people here simply don’t know the Republican presidential candidates that well. And it’s a big reason why the contest in Iowa is so volatile …”

The lead keeps changing but our future depends on these votes leading up to the presidenial conventions ~ The desire for change needs to be followed by the vote for change ~ If not – we will end up with the same old politics and harmful policies ~ (To me it is scary think of our future when Donald Trump is considering running as independent or George Bush Sr is endorsing Rommey .. and so many other chilling moments ..)

Hopefully more people will vote with insight and reflect the true desires of the people ~ Blessings ~

  3. Interesting results in yesterday’s Iowa vote! Santorum seems to be the surprise that he was just a few votes from Rommey and Ron Paul a close third ~ I read that all three will get the same amount of delegates from the results! Also some interesting articles have appeared this morning that says Santorum’s nephew endorses Ron Paul because of Santorum’s big spending … here is the link to one of the articles ~

  4. And one more article to share ~ Shows as far as the delegate count – it is a three-way tie between the top three candidates winning 6 delegates each ~
