Great information on a most important subject, Yannaki! Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us! 🙂 I really like the ideas of Maude Barlow. There is no more precious gift that we have from our Earth Mother than that of water!

P.S. – I also forgot to mention, this film also won “Best Canadian Feature Film” at the 2010 international environmental film festival, as well as a “Gemini” nomination, for the Donald Britian award, for “best social and political documentary” ~ AWESOME!!!

Awesome blog about the benefits of this ancient, but amazingly healing internal martial art! — in today’s modern times….people are beginning to recognize the healing effects of such holistic practices and alternative healthcare methods, as we seek to improve our health and vitality ~ As i’ve shared before, I’ve experienced the healing effects…[Read more]

http://youtu.be/5qVzb9rPY9Q “Water On the Table” – a flim documentary about protecting our most precious gift of Mother Nature, besides the air, WATER – I was just flipping through the channels here (bored as heck here today) — and i found this rather educational and very thought-provoking documentary, which looks into Canada’s relationship to its freshwater supplies […]

Sadly, we do indeed need a “watch dog” to oversee our leaders. For too many years governments have abused their positions to repress the citizens and shrink our freedoms. Now, due to the integration of business and the working class into the playing field of the internet, we finally have a chance to bring balance […]

Thanks for the comment, Coralina! 😉 We are, indeed, a part of a vast Universe, and this is a reminder that humanity is a PART of it and not the most important part, either – despite the thoughts of some of the population. 😉 I know that information of this nature makes some people uneasy, […]

What an inspiration, Johannes! Thank you so much for sharing this video with us! I hope that when I am 92 (no, not any time soon! ;)), I have the grace, poise, wisdom, and agility that this woman does. She is truly amazing, and her humbleness is Heart warming.

Too funny, Coralina! I LOVE them both! 😀 Did they come from the book Zen Flesh, Zen Bones? It has stories like these in it! It is one of my favorite books!
That walking on water scenario sounds like something I’d do to my children! 😉 Hey, they’re ornery, too! 🙂

Great comments, everyone! 🙂 I Loved this story, too! It has been quite uplifting for me today! Sometimes I think the molehills of the world conspire together to present a mountain of challenge to us. But, if we can keep a one starfish at a time mentality about it, the molehills cannot disillusion us and […]

Yeah, I like that story too. It makes an enormous difference to the starfish. All things being equal, and the universe being void of meaning except for what we manage to make it mean in our heads, I’d still like to opt for doing good stuff, throw back as many starfish as possible. It would […]
