Full Moon Meditation + Lunar Eclipse + Winter Solstice

Sit comfortably with your hands in prayer pose beneath the light of the moon. Chant aloud or mentally vibrate the Mantra:

Sat Narayan
Wahay Guru
Hari Narayan
Sat Nam

The True Sustainer,
Ecstasy of Darkness Brought to Light
Creative Sustenance of the Infinite,
Truth is its Essence

The Lunar eclipse is an auspicious Full Moon. The moon has waxed to it’s full luminosity and will begin to wane. All that we vibrate during the forthcoming waning cycle will have a stronger than usual impact on our future. Use this cycle to give up negative patterns and habits and direct your intention towards your highest truth. The Full Moon, in addition to its affects on tides, etc., has a subtle effect on our being especially with emotions. When coupled with a Lunar eclipse, our emotions, if not controlled and monitored, can bring us out of balance – hence the term “lunacy”. The Sun and the Moon are on opposite sides of the earth and the earth casts a shadow over the moon. This has a stretching effect on the aura and is an auspicious time to use the magnified yin and yang forces to direct our awareness to higher states.

  1. This is very beautiful Seva ~ How timely you posted this lovely Mantra because strangely tonight I felt my emotions being pulled in different directions for some reason .. I think you have given me the answer to why this evening my internal tides are stirring ~ Your meditation will help calm the spiritual waves ~ Even though I cannot see the lunar eclipse tonight because it is raining .. I seem to feel the warmth of its golden glow ~ Namaste and sweet blessings ~ Coralina ~

  2. Thank you Sevara, for sharing this beautiful Mantra!
