I came across this short but inspirational video from one of my most favorite music composers….New Age composer and poet Chris Spheeris — who would inspire me with childlike wonder and imagination….from his magical compositions ~
Also a motivational speaker….in this vid he discusses the importanceĀ of Art and creativity (all of kinds) and how vital it is for humanity’s existence ~
This is interesting! ~ Yes, art is very subjective ~ I remember when I was in art classes how some of the instructors taught from a particular school of art and style ~ Students were highly criticized if not conforming to their particular school of thought ~
Also, what Chris said about how our society judges our creativity makes me think of some of the most famous artist such as Van Gogh for example, were never appreciated in their own lifetime .. only after Van Gogh’s death was his art praised for its depth in beauty and now treasured in some of the most prestigious art museums in the world ~ Thank you Yannaki for sharing! ~

Thanks for posting this video with Chris Spheeris! HIs music has been among my favorites for a long time. I Love what he had to say about creativity and each of us being unique in our selves and in our styles. Art and creative outlets of all sorts are very much a part of making Life satisfying.
