> Go to the top menu and bring your cursor over “My Blogs”
> Bring the cursor over “Divine Earth”
> Select “New Post”
> On the resulting page give your blog entry a Title and then add your text to the body. Here you can also add formating (must be on the Visual tab, not the HTML tab) like bold or changing the text color. Don’t over do it! Remember this is a community blog.
Add a link
> You must be on the Visual tab, not the HTML tab.
> Select some text in the body of your post and click on the little icon in the formatting menu that looks like a chain link.
> A pop-up window will appear where you can put in the link URL.
> Be sure to select “open in a new window” for the target.
> It should look like this: Example [don’t click]
Add a video
> You must be on the Visual tab, not the HTML tab.
> On YouTube, click on “share” (just below the video window) and copy and paste the URL into the body of your post and it will automagically convert to the video window when you publish.
> NOTE: be sure to use the URL only (starts with “http://”) and NOT the embed code! The URL should look like this, without the quotations: “http://www.youtu.be/PX90DZq2OLA”
Add an image
> You must be on the Visual tab, not the HTML tab.
> Above the formatting tool bar you should see “Add media” and a few clickable boxes.
> Select the first box.
> Here you will have the choice of 1.) choosing a photo from your computer, 2.) choosing and image from the internet (you must know the URL for this image), and 3.) using photos in the gallery or media file.
> Choose the Alignment, usually “Left” is best.
> Click “Insert into post”
Tags
> On the right side menu you will see a place to enter tags.
> Be sure to choose a few key words that are unique to your post. Example: “dog, fleas, kibble”
Categories
> On the right side menu you will see a list of categories.
> Choose one or more categories that best suit your topic
Preview and Publish
> When you are done click Preview Changes in the right menu. Video may not appear until you actually hit publish.
> If everything looks good click Publish.
