Donations: Pay what you can, recommended amount is $10.
A word about offerings/donations: It is of the utmost importance that you come to class with an offering (read Yogi Bhajan’s statement below). The offering should be made in the spirit of gratitude and can be in a monetary form, which is usually easiest, or a gift.
Recommended online class donation is $10.
“Itarashtam tithar Kashtam – empty handed you come, empty handed you go. It’s a law which should never be broken. And you should (as a teacher) share freely, but never receive a student who comes empty handed – that’s the law. If a person shall come empty handed, that person may sit here for six hours and do all kinds of yoga, but the moment he goes out of that door, he’ll go empty handed. That’s the only condition, and it’s not up to you or me.” ~ Yogi Bhajan
In the early morning hours .. a quote to share, dear Sevara, from the DailyOm ~
“The world awakens each day from its nightly slumber, transformed by a sparkling layer of morning dew on the grass, on flower petals and leaves …
In one myth, morning dew is believed to be tears from heaven, and in another, the droplets are poured from the vessel of the goddess of dawn…Seeing the sparkling beauty of the earth emerging from darkness, we may understand this longing in terms of our own gratitude; how blessed we are to be here.”
Om Shanti with love ~ Coralina ~
Sevara, you are like vegetable soup for the heart & soul! Wait a minute, I think I’m hungry. 🙂 Great exercises…fun too. I especially loved the eye exercise to improve the eyesight. Being that I worked in an eye practice where certain eye exercises & body movements were implemented as part of a therapeutic program for such things as autism, I thought this one was especially interesting.
Thank you for adding such beautiful vision and energy into my day! …with love
Thank you, Seva, for the yoga with so much heart and soul ~
Your yoga and essence in spirit draws me into a deep, peaceful place ~ In class you guide me to exotic lands – I picture myself at the edge of a sacred river and can smell the fragrance of the most beautiful flower pedals ~
Now that you have taken me into the deep realms of heart and light .. perhaps for a leisurely afternoon I will see the Karate Kid 2010 movie with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan – (Thank you, Sevara, for the preview of the movie in your earlier blog ~ The scenery is beautiful) ~ Have a joyful Sunday!
Namaste ~ With love ~ Coralina ~
thank you, Namaste!
Oh no’s!!
I just missed today’s yoga session — just woke up right now (was in real need of sleep -) ~ and was looking for the archived recap but haven’t found it 🙁 🙁 🙁
One of the things i have been practicing (which sometimes i still do have difficulty in) is to not get too wrapped up in things ~ While i feel kind of sad — it makes me smile to knowthat the others joined and from da comments ~ it was an uplifting and healing session ~ Yay Yay!
Many blessings ~ Yaki ~
