From the website of Catherine Blakespear: “These pumpkins are grown every year by the Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF) on what would be considered “vacant land” in Cardiff and Encinitas, California. Their annual appearance is a lovely tribute to our city’s agricultural past and present. I hope that this warm tradition continues indefinitely! Around Halloween, the monks at SRF create incredible artistic pieces for public display outside the Fellowship.
