The secrets of nature I do not seek.
The secrets of God I care not to learn.
O my heart, reveal to me your secrets of Love.
I would give up all to live forever in your sacredness.
I would sacrifice all powers, all knowledge, all possessions
If I may drink each moment of your divine nectar.
O my eyes, open that I may see only Love before me.
May my tongue taste only Love.
May my hands feel only Love.
May my nose smell only the blossoms of Love.
May my ears hear only the voice of my beloved,
So that when she calls upon me I awaken.
