Surely, life is not merely a job, an occupation; life is something extraordinarily wide and profound, it is a great mystery, a vast realm in which we function as human beings.

I wanted a perfect ending…Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity.

A warrior must learn to make every act count, since he is going to be here in this world for only a short while, in fact, too short for witnessing all the marvels of it.

Everything is written in the sounds around us. Man's past, present and future. A man who does not know how to listen cannot hear the advice that life is offering us at every moment. Only someone who listens to the sound of the present can make the right decision.

The secret lies in the present - if you pay attention to the present, you will be able to improve it. And if you improve the present, whatever happens afterwards will be better too.

What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?

Do not take life's experiences too seriously. Above all, do not let them hurt you, for in reality they are nothing but dream experiences. Play your part in life, but never forget it is only a role. Realization of this truth will make you master of your destiny.

Live your life so that the fear of death can never enter your heart. When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the morning light. Give thanks for your life and strength. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. And if perchance you see no reason for giving thanks, rest assured the fault is in yourself.
