Yo Yo Divine Earth space cadets!! -- today's a reeel special day in astro-news! -- kuz' in just a little while ~ sumthin' in da celestial skies is about to happen 2-nite!!! ~ YEA! YEA!


Today's a total lunar eclipse is scheduled's to happen!!! - yepz! - It's gonna be able to be seen from anywhere in da Americas all day into Europe -- and it should be an awesome one!! -- Here's an article me found'z about it not too

OOOO! - but hurry on outside to see it if u can!! - Kuz' today's da last total lunar eclipse to be seen till' 2010!!! (Keepin' my fingaz' krossed here's dat da clouds. or a break em. disappears here where I am! -- it's quite overcast....DOH! Me wanna see! - it always get's cloudy here when something's happenin' up in da nite sky -- LOL!)



So for those who are fortunate to witness da event, GO CHECKS IT OUT!!!

For those of you who were able to see it ... Pauline, Chica, and even the brief capture you had Karyl .... Whoopie!

We had been blessed with wonderful sunny weather but rain with thunderstorms have come back to visit for a while .... and covered up the view so we didn't get to see this eclipse. I have seen many others and look forward to see them in the future ... just will have to wait a while.

Great website Yanniki ... a good one to keep bookmarked and view the wonders of our universe. Thanks for the reminder of the eclipse.

It was too cloudy here to see anything! Whaaa!

Lunar Eclipse

It was spectacular! Pretty exciting to have the sun at our backs allowing us to cast a beautiful orange shadow onto the Moon.
Too bad the Hubble space station wasn't able to capture any pictures for us however that'll be the next "head's up!"

Did anybody else feel an energy serge? haha, Even the (indoor) cat wanted out and was willing to tolerate -25 c to watch the moon.

Thanks Yannaki! Those are great links with lots of background on the lunar eclipse and I especially like the animated one!

Too bad it's a cloudy day here but I hope many of you on Divine Earth will be fortunate to see it this evening!

I will post some pics tomrrow, though they haven't come out that well..but still it was wonderful... the red glow around the moon...spooky and beautiful :)

Clouds have bad timing

I had my camera ready.. caught the first minute or two of it.. and then the clouds rolled in, encircled the moon for about 5 more seconds.. then thats all she wrote. I didn't get to see any of the rest of it. I was soooo disappointed! I can't wait to see your photos Chica!
