Life, Death, and Cancer
Recently I finished my Aryvetic lifestyle course and I looked up at the heavens asking God and the Angles why they had guided me to these things. I do not know anyone that is really sick.
Within a few days when I was downtown I heard a woman calling my name over and over again. I looked around and I saw a young woman in here 30’s approaching me. I though you look so familiar but I can not remember where I know you from. She explained where she knew me from and that we she had meet 20 years ago when we were younger. I am not sure how people remember me when I have not seen them for 20 years but they seem to. I noticed she was wearing the pink cancer donation scarf. I said I like your scarf it is a pretty pink color. She told me she had breast cancer and had the surgery to remove it already. She had just come from her visit to the doctor to check it. I was floored as I had never met anyone in there 30’s that has had breast cancer. She blurted out everyone has health problems this is just mine. I said you are right I do have some health problems also and I do not really know anyone that does not. I had never really though of it this way. Cancer has always been such a scary sounding big thing to me.
She explained her mother died of breast cancer. I asked does it hurt? She replayed no. People with Cancer do not want you to feel sorry for them just treat them with love and respect. We went on to talking as we went on the same subway. I asked so what have they told you can do to prevent it from coming back. Just eat healthy, exercise and have little of no stress. What does eating right mean wondering what the hospitals was telling people these days. Just eat lots of fruits and vegetables. I asked did you know that many meats have growth hormones that can cause cancer to grow faster. What about milk did they tell you that you should also have organic milk and milk products as it could contain the same growth hormones. No they never said anything about this. I was surprised how the doctors just chop parts of but do not really talk to people about how to prevent the problem from coming back.
She told me about another girl I had know who now had MS. She has such a positive attitude and goes to the naturopathic doctors. She is still walking she only has a limp. Well there is the key naturopathic and alternative medicine. She has been looking for you Queen she said. So I gave her my email address for her and sent to the other girl and I took her email. We laughed and laughed about how life can turn out and how we could still see the positive. I know that life is just what you make of it. Maybe some of us will live 20 or 30 or 40 year and others much older. But all we can do is take care of our self the best we can. Eat organic, exercise, take herbs, laugh and love. We would all like to live until we are in our 80 or 90 but maybe we will not all do this. Would we want to do this if we were sick. The important think is that we live a life full of love, kindness, laugher and life. The angles will always be there to comfort us when we really need them if we call them sometimes we just need to leave our worries in there hands so that we can just laugh at life.

Thanks for sharing your story Queen.
I have a girlfriend who had both breasts removed last year and she is young! She underwent her treatments. got sick and lost all of her hair. Eyebrows and ALL.
She pulled through and is now sporting new perky breasts as she opted for the cosmetic procedure.
She was upbeat and positive the whole time.
I lost a son at the age of eight years old to a brain tumor. My Mom, thriteen years ago. Pancreatic Cancer.
My late husband three years ago to Advanced Lymphoma.
We must live life to the fullest every day with Joy, Love,
Passion and Compassion.
Blessings to you and your friend.

Sorry to hear that Lightdancer
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of you son that must have been so difficult for you. I can not imagine how hard that would be and you husband also. Very sad indeed! I see why you are drawn to so many spiritual healing things.
It seems you have known many people with cancer. i guess it is just a part of life now. I have to call my friend to see if she got the test results yet. It does not seem she even had kemo which I am sure would make it far worse. Hair can be replaced and I guess so can breasts. Does that mean that the cancer will not come back if she had both breasts removed? Or is it just something they watch? My friend is very upbeat also. She has a very nice husband that she meet in Equidor when she was doing some volunteer work there. I am sure he is very supportive. She is even working part time and she seems quite health now. She lives in another city close to here Branpton which is about 45 minutes away so I will have to look for some organic food stores there for here as she is having a hard time finding them.
I agree we must live life to the fullest every day with Joy, Love, Passion and Compassion. That is something I have learned also. Have a great holiday. Thank you for shareing.
