To me her writings/quotes are not some fancy words that some of the nowday inspirational writers come up with, instead I feel they were taken from her everyday's life experiences ... it comes from the heart of the common person she never lost throughout her life. Thank you for allowing to comment on it :)

I'm a great admirer of Maya Angelou, Divine Earth - I was fortunate to attend one of her lectures when I was in college and she left quite an impression on me ... The first book I read of Maya's was "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings". Thank you for the wonderful quote ~
