Here's a vid me foundz of da controversial oil burning of da gulf coast oil spill dat has headlined da news n' rocked da ecoworld ~ AY AY!!!
In an attempt to rid of the oil that contaminates da Gulf Coast - burning the oil that lies at the surface seems to be the method of choice ~ However, this has caused much outrage - as it contributes to air pollution and further damaging the planet! - ARRG! ~ it's pretty much like pushin dust n' dirt under a rug....it might not be there anymore - but it's somewhere else -- In this case, da oil is burned n' pollutin da skies!! ~
It makes me sad n' hurt inside to see this happening...sigh...but this is mankind's folly....repeating the same mistakes again....As Seva has said, this is the time to take action, to speak our hearts out ~ And eventually put an end to this problem once and for all! ~ SPEAK OUT! ~ LET THEM HEAR US!! ~ NO MORE!!

1. oil spill
As a resident of the gulf coast, when we are told by authorities to prepare for the worst, that usually means hurricane. We know how to get ready for that. The birds, wildlife, and marine life know what to do, where to go to be safe. We recover, it's a natural process.
This man made disaster is much more complex. Oil hemorraging into to our precious life giving water, cant burn it as it pollutes the air, the detergent chemicals they use to break it down are toxic. Much like the toxic thinking that created this mess.
Mother Earth is furious! We have wounded her deeply. I hope humanity will wake up. I pray for her forgiveness. I thank her for all she still provides us. I will give my energies to her recovery as she so graciously allowed me to draw from her in my own recovery.

2. Environmental heart break ~
So heart breaking ~ Thank you for posting this, Yannaki, for this massive and unprecedented environmental disaster needs the attention of all those who care about our water, coastline, air and marine life ~
I have read this oil spill should eclipse the 1989 Exxon Valdez incident as "the worst U.S. oil disaster in history" in a matter of weeks ...
From the salt marshes of Louisiana to the white-sand beaches of Florida, the concerns are both environmental and economic ~ So many are at risk from the fishing industry worried that no one will want to buy products from contaminated waters .. and environmentalists are worried about how the oil will affect the countless birds, coral and mammals in and near the Gulf ~
The administration made a statement that it would require oil well-owner BP America to bear all costs ~
Thank you to Divine Earth/Johannes/Sevara for doing so much to aid in caring for our planet through this web site ~ With love ~ Coralina ~
