Although manufacturers are aware of the dangers, it is still widely used. I have never cooked with aluminum pots or pans, but did not realize that aluminum can seep out S.S pots as well during cooking. My husband is doing a job for the Nike shoe co. right now, which involves many people handling a large amount of aluminum displays.
