WHAT DA HECK!! :O :O :O -- This just in fresh in da news: -- In an unprecedented (and stupid) event, our very own Pres. -- today officially lifted da ban on offshore drilling, makin' it possible for oil drillers....for da first time in years....to drill for more oil -- OFFSHORE -- and also....at da National Alaskan Wildlife Refuge ~ "Home of thousands of caribou deer n' other wildlife" ~ THIZ IZ OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sighh......honestly, i'm totally speechless right now -- After ALL da efforts to "GO GREEN" -- ALL da hard work n' years invested in formulatin' ways to discover n' implement NEW "re-newable" energy sources -- and after ALL da protests.....and ALL da "BrooHaHa" from da crowds n' all da empty promises n' lies from da leaders.......THIS IS WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO??? - DIGGING FOR MORE OIL??????

We are in changin' times -- in a new century -- While there is gradual progress in preservin' our environment...(Horray!) -- We still have got  LOTS TO DO!! --- How long will it take for our world leaders......Our citizens......Our whole darn societies -- TO GET IT!? -- To understand that we must make changes, sacrifices in our daily routines.....to change our old obsolete ways of thinking.....And learn to adapt to what lies ahead ----Developing new innovations that will last centuries -- Cleaner, more efficient energy sources -- and finally.....for all of us....to adopt new thought patterns n' allow them to gradully become a part of our new psyche???????

What was familiar to us -- since da start of da Industrial Revolution --- is NOW OBSOLETE....inefficient....OLD "FOSSIL" TECHNOLOGY --- Our dependence on oil became sooooo great -- (We literally are addicted to it!) --- that a shortage of it can EVEN lead to financial hardships  --- It doesn't become JUST a simple form of energy (as it was intended to be) --- It is MORE than that --- It is "commodity" -- it is equivalent to "Money" -- and with control of dat....comes "Power" -- and then a whole chain reaction results which leads to a HUGE BIG MESS -- We are at da VERY MERCY of oil -- On our knees.......It becomes "Survival" -- In fact, durin' da Oil & Energy Crisis of da 70's.......it became soooo bad......people even began to turn on each other......fightin' for oil -- Violence n' Chaos broke out -- Stealin', Lootin'.....back to primal instinctual (barbaric) behavior -- FOR OIL & GAS ~ Imagine what will happen.....once we start to run out of fresh water?????? -- WHAT THEN?????

Al of a sudden --- WE don't CARE about da environment -- WE don't CARE about "Goin' Green" ---- ALL WE WANT -- is to save our own poor butts.......To dig!  -- No matter WHERE or WHAT the costs ~ at da expense of damagin' our own land ---- Senseless drillin' for this slimy sludgy black stuff called "Oil" --- We are DESPARATE for it!! --

We've become so SELFISH n' THOUGHTLESS about how our lifestyles, our decisions affect da environment ---- We just go on with our plans......Only thinkin' short-term -- but NEVER about da long-term consequences.......We can't even look into our Mother Nature's eyes.....all da precious creatures n' Da Trees -- and just see da expression of hurt, pain, worry, sadness n' anger -- in them....sayin' to us, "YOU'RE KILLING DA ENVIRONMENT! - YOU'RE KILLING US! - and.....YOU'RE KILLING YOURSELVES!"  ~

Just look all around us.....da mystical nature of how our universe works.....our environment -- Da Infinite has a verrrry verrrry subtle....but VASTLY POWERFUL n' PROFOUND way of teaching  vital lessons to us -- through our intuition -- "when stars are born & die, when leaves change colors, when rivers alter course" -- teaches us how life is ever-changing and continuing to evolve.......

Right now we are witnessin' our own climate changing --- Days are getting warmer, more frequent storms, droughts, firestorms, and of course....meltin' ice shelves -- and precious wildlife n' ecosystems are threatened with exinction.......Doesn't that tell us something???? --- Scientists have warned us for years, with their findings......Global Warming is REAL --- Our old ways of living....our clinging to fossil fuels.....is da direct result of it  ~ And we really need to stop n' reconsider what are we to do --- to fix things n' as da river does....."Alter its course" -- find another way....into da ocean????

NO, DIGGIN' FOR MORE OIL - is not da answer! -- Trashin' beautiful landscapes n' tresspassin' on WILDLIFE TURF -- IS NOT DA ANSWER!! ---- It will not correct our risin' prices...only temp. at best (Not good enough).......As said earlier's.......It's a foolish attempt to try to fix things.......Da Admin. doesn't care about da environment (THEY EVEN SAID - they reject regulatin' greenhouse gases - Arrrgh!!!) ---- So their simple solution? DIG MORE!!!

To dig for more --- is backward progression --- NOT MOVING FORWARD --- We must explore new fresh alternative ideas in energy and APPLY THEM -- 21st century technology -- IT CAN BE DONE!! - WE CAN DO IT!! ~ In da last 20 or so years we have seen an incredible boom in technological advances.....PDA's, laptops, Plasma flatscreens, Playstation 3, -- heck EVEN ATOM SMASHERS!! -- great advances.......yet we still haven't figured out a solid practical "re-newable" energy source??? -- It's easy to create da latest "I-phone", da latest 7GHz 64-bit dual-core processors,  -- yet not easy to invent new energy methods?????? -- WHY ARE WE STILL RELYIN' ON OIL????????

(For example....Wind energy was first expiremented back in da 1960's n' 70's --- And for all this time.....till now.....We still haven't perfected it to create suitable enough energy?????)

No more excuses - no more empty promises - IT's TIME TO ACT NOW - and change things for da better - We can still co-exist and use energy without blindly destroyin' our habitat - YES WE CAN!!

PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT!! - spread da word....write to congress and tell them - "NO TO OFFSHORE DRILLING!" -
