talkin' about da Top 10 "Worst Pollutin' rides" on da road today -- Very interestin' n' bound to get's ur left brain kicked into high gear! --- Especially now....in this current age -- where we are truly seein' da ugly face of Global Warmin' bangin' at our door.....and how our over-consumeristic addiction to oil n' careless use n' abuse of fossil fuels are creatin' dire consequences for our near future (Which are takin' place RIGHT NOW's! - doesn't it feel warmer out there nowadays??? Hmmmm????) -- UNLESS WE TAKE CONSCIOUS ACTION TO CHANGE THINGS!! :o :o :o

Oh Yannaki - Your article has lots of good information on the pollution problems and the reasons car makers need to make better cars - this in addition to the rising gas prices and related global politics!
Also...I was encouraged by these statements from the article ..."Widespread use of catalytic converters, exhaust gas recirculation, particulate filters and reformulated fuel are the main reasons today’s vehicles pollute far less than their predecessors."
"And things will only get better: Some of the biggest polluters on our top 10 list will be cleaning up their acts for the 2009 model year, thanks to the advent of new diesel engine technology."
