The evening before the dvd California concert ~

Johannes plays with such passion - even in this informal setting the night before the big dvd concert ~ All four of the great Gemini Sun artists (Johannes Linstead, Nicholas Gunn, Loren Gold and David Arkenstone) and the band got together at the local book store for a wonderful preview performance and CD signing ~

I asked Johannes if I could share these photos with you ..Thank you Johannes! ~ I took these photos of Johannes and Jesus at this informal setting the night before the special concert ~ A weekend I will never forget ~

Very Nice !!! Sounds like a fantastic and magical time, (I can only imagine lol) also love these Tucan Sam colours. Thanks for sharing them.

Thank you for posting them Coralina! i enjoyed them, and reading about your and Yannaki's adventures from that evening and the concert. It sounds like lots of fun! Johannes's playing and music are always full of life, beauty and magic!

Bookstore Jammin!!

EY!!! - awesome shot u took of da special preview show at da local bookstore Coralinni!! - u sure did capture da moment!!!

 

DAT RIGHT!! - i remember this incredible moment just as vividly as da main DVD show - A fun-filled night at da bookstore! (Finally da librarian cant say....."SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH") - lol -

Each brought their unique talents and entertained da audience with their beautiful muzik n' amazin' skills - while sippin' on a nice cup of tea (a very relaxed informal settin' indeed!) -- and as always, in their tip-top form! -- No suprise there!! ~ We watched in awe as Gold, Arkenstone, Gunn n' Joh take center stage and blow us all away!! -- IT WUZ REAL NICE!!!

And Coralinni -- u caught all da passion n' emotions in those shots! - U could see Johannito feelin' da muzik w/ every bit! - Ay! Ay! Ay! ~ And Jesus providin' some nice harmonic instrumentation to accompany (includin' some nifty solo sections - switchin' to his "Viper Electro-violin" -- ooooh are they sweet! -- yeaaa!!)

 

OOO! - and i remember after da show -- da fun' n' wacky bassist dude Paulo saw me filmin' it -- n' he came over n' asked for a copy -- And sent him a reeal nicely-fixed VHS home vid of da show! -- He looved it! :D :D :D :D :D (AMIGOS HAHA!)

 

Ahhhhh...Great Memories! Great Moments - And a feeling of warmth, joy n' light in my heart -

preview to the big concert

Oh I love Jesus' Viper electro-violin too! One can see it in the new dvd and I remember he also played it for one of the songs with Nicholas at the book store too ~

Such great vibes - yes Paulo the bass player was sweet to make a connection with you, Yannaki, and show interest in your filming their performance!

Here's one more photo I took that night at the book store performance - this one of Nicholas Gunn ...I was impressed not only with his wonderful music but also with his professionalism of how he seems to attend to each detail of running the record company ~

A wonderful evening of great musical talent - I feel so blessed to have been there and to see and experience Johannes' music in this intimate setting as well as the grand concert the next day ~ Johannes knows how very special that memory is to me and the place it holds in my heart ~
