Tips

I have read similar information about prevention of other types of cancer in other websites. I found that Carla's website had some very good information. Thanks for the direction to it and her website.

"Although cancer can affect many different parts of the body, the foods that prevent cancer and deter cancer growth are generally the same from one to the next. Fruits, vegetables, grains, and legumes all have important nutrients and other cancer-fighting substances called phytochemicals that strengthen immune function and destroy cancer-causing substances before they do their dirty work. Research has shown that people who eat a diet free of animal products and one that is low in fat have a much lower risk of developing cancer. Many of the foods that we eat today are injected with antibiotics and hormones (meats) or are covered with pesticides (vegetables). Foods are so over processed that the nutritional values are minimal. The best option for preventing cancer, and or enhancing your nutrition after being diagnosed with cancer, is to eat as much organic food as you can possibly afford. " these are always good tips.

I also liked the tips on Journal writing. Many people that get cancer have allot of anger inside even though they are not aware that it is there. Journaling is an excellent way to get through these feelings. I find this can also be helpful to work through what is happening to you when and illness is within you. Meditation, yoga, tai-chi and relaxation music are good for us all even when we are healthy. Great article thank-you for putting it up here.
