This week I had to go for some very painful tests at the hospital. I always like to talk with the ladies in the waiting room as I can see many are stressed out. One very nice young lady I meet was quite nice. She was telling me she recently had a kidney transplant that did not take. She let me know that she will have to wait for 10 years to get another kidney.

Netti Pot Friend or Foe

Published in

There is much controversy among my classmates whom are mostly yogis as to whether the Netti Pot is good to use or not. Myself I think it is worth trying. Some people will use it in cold or allergy season and this works for them. Some people use is all year long. I think the important thing is to give it a try and see if it works for you. If you buy a Netti pot the instructions will come with it.

Ayurvedic emphasizes Sattva one of the gunas as it is the principle of balance, harmony, clarity, truth, and love, sattvic energy provides the ideal model for the type of energy required for healing both body and mind. “Away from Her” with Julie Christie, Gordon Pinsent, and Olympia Dukakis was a beautiful movie. It shows the couple Grant and Fiona living in an idea setting for retired persons. In a large cottage on the lake. Cooking, cross country skiing, and reading together by the fireplace. Looks perfect but it does not last as Fiona has the quick onset of Alzheimer’s.
