Netti Pot Friend or Foe
Submitted by ForestSpiritQueen on Sun, 12/09/2007 - 10:42.There is much controversy among my classmates whom are mostly yogis as to whether the Netti Pot is good to use or not. Myself I think it is worth trying. Some people will use it in cold or allergy season and this works for them. Some people use is all year long. I think the important thing is to give it a try and see if it works for you. If you buy a Netti pot the instructions will come with it.

We can feel this love every day as we work in our gardens and eat what the earth has provided for us. This is I think a different way to look at the whole connection with plants, earth and the cosmos.

Sattva guna is the principle of clarity that allows perception and when perception is clarified liberation to occur. To me Sattva means balance, harmony and innate bliss.

Away from Her
Submitted by ForestSpiritQueen on Sun, 09/16/2007 - 12:23.“Away from Her” with Julie Christie, Gordon Pinsent, and Olympia Dukakis was a beautiful movie. It shows the couple Grant and Fiona living in an idea setting for retired persons. In a large cottage on the lake. Cooking, cross country skiing, and reading together by the fireplace. Looks perfect but it does not last as Fiona has the quick onset of Alzheimer’s.
