I was very excited to see Johannes's latest newsletter and announcement of his recently signed International Artist endorsement agreement with Yamaha Corporation of America ~ Yamaha is the largest musical instrument manufacturer in the world and I quote Johannes in saying: "I am very excited to be one of the first guitarists to be playing NCX2000R."

California surfer receives whale of an escort during marathon paddle ~

When Southern California surfer Jodie Nelson set out Sunday to standup-paddle nearly 40 miles from Santa Catalina Island to Dana Point, she hoped it'd inspire her best friend, who has been involved in a long and exhausting struggle with breast cancer, to keep fighting.

Nelson, 34, whose mother and aunt are cancer survivors, also hoped her nine-hour test of endurance would raise money for two cancer charities and heighten awareness about a plight affecting millions of women.

What Nelson could not have known was that a 30-foot minke whale would swim alongside her 14-foot board and accompany the surfer as she stood and paddled for two of those nine hours, thus joining the cause.

"It was a day that all of us involved will never forget," Nelson said, in reference to Angela Robinson, her best friend, and the rest of a crew aboard an escort boat.

For my birthday I was so blessed to receive Brittni's latest album, Four Strings: The Fire Within~ Johannes and Brittni play Johannes's classic song "Hour of the Lamps"! ~

Hour of the Lamps has always been one of my favorite Johannes songs .. From the first time I heard it I was totally drawn in by Johannes's magic ..an exotic journey to far away lands of deep mystery ~

In Brittni's version it takes on a new feeling that combines the essence of Brittni's Hawaiian roots (Brittni is a award winning ukulele and multi-instrumentalist) and Johannes's sultry Latin guitarra ~ It will capture your hearts! ~

Thank you Johannes and Brittni for such beautiful music that deeply touches my soul ~ Blessings and love ~ Coralina ~

Interestingly, people who manifest peace internally have chattering thoughts and troubled emotions like we all do. The difference is that they do not lend their energy to them, so those thoughts and feelings can simply rise and fall like the waves of the ocean without disturbing the deeper waters of peacefulness within. We all have this ability to choose how we distribute our energy, and practice enables us to grow increasingly more serene as we choose the vibration of peace over the vibration of conflict. We begin to see our thoughts and feelings as tiny objects on the surface of our being that pose no threat to the deep interior stillness that is the source of peacefulness.

When we find that we are able to locate ourselves more and more in the deeper waters and less on the tumultuous surface of our being, we have discovered a lasting relationship with peace that will enable us to inspire peace beyond ourselves. Until then, we help the world most by practicing the art of choosing peace within.

I dream of a Sevara CD for there is no other spiritual music that touches my soul like Sevara/Johannes ~ But in the meantime here is some other music of the divine to share from IndiaJiva ~ Blessings and love to all ~
